Well, that's that.
So today I was in an accident with my 2012 2LT/RS. I have a green light, continue through, a car takes a left into a shopping center at the light and crosses into my lane I swerve to avoid the car jump the curb and through a pole. All airbags deployed and I ripped my seatbelt off, cut through the airbags with my knife and climbed out the car (doors wouldn't open from the inside). I didn't get a chance to look at my car as I was quickly put in a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance and rushed to the hospital. Nothing series, possible concussion and going to be really sore tomorrow. Thankful I'm alive. Will go see the car tomorrow and post pics.

Unfortunate, was the other car a modded m3?... Glad your ok hopefully you weren't going too fast and didn't get to shaken up. Sorry to hear right after you got 3rd at a BMW car show. Don't mean to rub in the hurt, here's a little humor. Hope its fixable. The car too!

Sux!!!
Glad you are alive!!! I hope they can find out the car that caused it - any videos or witnesses?
Another life saved by the way the Camaros are built. Hang in there.....

Same here... but you should have just let the guy hit you.
I know our defense mechanisms take over at a time like that, but you'd have been better off insurance-wise. Did the idiot stop?

Glad you're OK
Just people walking in general anywhere scares me that this is how they drive. Going to a theme park, mall or airport are the worst cases.

A car is replaceable. A human life is not. it may suck to have your car into an accident but be happy your still alive.
I know us on the forums are happy for you that your still here

You are still here to type about it, be thankful. You can replace metal.

What do you all think? Totaled? I jumped a curb so the entire underbody is probably pretty messed up. Exhaust I could visibly see was bent side ways, side airbags deployed. I opened up the hood and noticed fluid leaking and oil splashed around I think. Passenger side door is also going to need to be replaced and the bumper as you can see is going to have to be totaled replaced. And the passenger side back side fender is messed up as well. |
