Ok, I love the new grill now. I've always been an egg crate fan but after letting this one stew in my brain for a few days I like it better. Plus it is unique and helps tie the car together.
For the record... Stripe? Love it. IOM with IOM stiching on the inside? Heck yes!! Little details like this will make the car just that much better in my opinion. This is going to be an exciting month! |

I love the SSX wheels, however, I wish the ZL1 had drilled/slotted rotors given the open aspect of the wheels. Drilled and slotted large rotors look soooooo good. Regardless, this thing is awesome. I literally cannot stop looking at pictures of this car. I have most of the pics from the Compilation thread saved on my iphone and constantly just scroll through all of them counting down the days.

( i really still deeply want a ABM ZL1 ) is to do it ourselves. But I for one am not going to take a 50k car and paint it like I want as the car would loose value. Sunrise gold is nice though aint it? SUNRISE GOLD FROM ANOTHER C5 MEMBER

Some of the picture in the 1st post looks somewhat like the Sunrise Gold due to lightning/color inaccuracy, which I think was actually great lol. However, I don't really think the car would lose value if the paint job is done RIGHT. (which will cost at least $8K I think) Sure you won't add 8K to the car's value, but a quality paint job, especially painted after a great looking movie car, won't hurt the value. That's just my opinion tho. I don't mind people calling me a Transformers fanboy but damn it I LOVE how the T3 Bee looks... Maybe GM should considering producing the Camaro in Sunrise Gold, or something very similar to that color, even just for a limited run like Synergy Green. |

I'd love my 2012 TFE to be waaaay more accurate to the movie version than it is... especially that ZL1 fascia and the color. BUT realistically I know it ain't gonna happen. The decision I face now is the idea that if I ever sell it (which is unlikely! haha) will it sell better if I modify it for accuracy? or if i live it as it came off the production line?
