I've driven the FRS and anyone who knows the joy of driving a Miata type car will know why the FRS is a fun car to drive... But it's so damn slow, one just can't justify buying. If they would have put a turbo on it then it would have helped delay its death. Too bad, Toyota could have gotten somewhere here if they weren't so conservative.

My problem with the FR-S was it was just way to cramped inside and cheap feeling.

I was considering one before I got my second Camaro.

Agreed! My head touches the ceiling in there

Subaru makes pretty decent sports cars though, but I would say the FR-S was an attempt made by Toyota to make a sports car, which they have not been doing ever since the discontinuation of the Celica

Last time it was Mercury (I am not counting Suzuki because they are still running elsewhere), and now Scion. You have six months to buy whatever remaining Scion stock is available, but I am also glad about them leaving because you won't have to pay STICKER PRICE for their vehicles.

I mourn the loss of Mercury more than those things. They're basically just another bland toyota submodel. At least Mercury had a little fake chrome going for them!!

At least you wouldn't have to pay sticker price for their vehicles, unlike what Scion was doing with their pure price, which they make every Scion buyer pay, which is basically sticker price. Thank God Toyota doesn't do that. I just hoped that Ford didn't discontinue Mercury though.

The iM is a decent offering. It's basically the newer version of the matrix (which I had very good luck with for 162k). I think some of the models going to Toyota will improve them enough to make them decent offerings. Scion went tech heavy but cheap overall and it didn't work.

The TC a 2 door hatch back. It looks like a coupe from the outside, but when you open the hatch and put the back seats down, you could easily fit something 6 feet long and about 3 and a half feet wide in through the hatch, and have it lay flat with the hatch closed. This should probably go without saying, but the legs were off the desk.

Ironically enough, there were a lot of comparisons of the 6th gen Camaro to the Scion TC when the design of the Camaro was first revealed.

The iM has a very similar interior to the Corolla, and the Matrix was basically a Corolla hatchback or wagon, but it shared a platform with the Pontiac Vibe, which was phased out in 2010, when GM was phasing out both Pontiac and Saturn; the Matrix was discontinued for the 2014 model year.

My dad has an '05 Matrix XR with over 253K miles, and it is not doing real good. We are looking at replacements for it, but my uncle who owns a '15 Infiniti Q50, my cousin who just bought an Audi S3, and I are secretly looking at vehicles for my mom to replace her old '03 Tahoe LS she wants to have for the rest of her life (we are secretly looking at the 2016 Malibu).

We never looked or glanced at any Scion while we were buying. In the future, the iM might be renamed Matrix, but who knows about that. I only saw one iM on the road and one iA on the road, so in the six month period Scion is still going to be around, people should consider looking at them.

The tC I can say was very versatile for what it was. I would not necessarily compare it to a Camaro, because the Camaro has a hideously small trunk opening, and the tC has a huge opening because it is a hatchback.
