Do dealers have mark up on accessories that they sell

Today I took my 14 Camaro back to the dealership for the second time to have my cup holder lights fixed. When I was in there I talked to the general manager about all the problems I have had with the car that they were at fault for. He offered to give me 30 percent off one accessory that I wanted. I tried to get more but he kept saying that there was no mark up on them and it was costing him money by giving me 30 percent. My question is do dealerships have mark up and should I make them give me more?

I figured they did have mark up. The reason they are trying to make me happy is because when I bought my brand new camaro the ambient light kit they installed didn't work properly. One of the lights in the cup holder didn't work at all and the light in the passenger floor board wasn't secured. I had to bring it back twice and today when I picked it up the light in the floor board still wasn't properly secured. They used double sided tape when there is holes for screws. Not to mention when I got the car there was shavings from where they drilled the lights for the cup holder which is just ridiculous.

Because I could always contact chevy and inform them that they are not cleaning out the cars properly before selling them and not installing parts properly. Plus I still haven't submitted my survey.

No mark up. It's enough for business people to provide a service that helps people. They are not concerned with making money.

Translation, they don't screw you quite as Bad on accessories as non accessories.

Out of warranty replacement parts are skies the limit.

Get free oil changes instead their offer is only to dig into your pocket. You can buy GM accessories on ebay for more than 30% off, and what about labor to install?

If there is no markup then why would they install an ambient light kit on my car? It just seems like a waste for them to spend money paying a tech to install them.
