It's just going to be the LS9, but watered down a bit. Kinda like what they're doing for the new CTS-V. Same engine as the ZR1, but they watered it down more.

Technically its called the LSA (the engine thats in the CTS-V).

So now we know that the Camaro SS will come in 2010, it'll have 500+ horses, and is going to kcik @$$. Does that mean the Camaro will come in 2009?

He's been doing FastLane daily for at least a year now (that's when I started watching occasionally). But you're not wrong; nobody outside of GM knows this information for sure. Well, besides the dicsiples I assume.

Originally there were going to be 3 6.2 SCs. The LS8, the LSA, and the LS9. Everyone thought the LSA would be the Camaro engine but the Zetas, and the Z06 when the LS7 is finally retired, were supposed to get the LS8. Remember this article?
