So, I asked the Mustang guys this...and now I ask Camaro owners....
So, after checking over our blog....
I was thinking to myself, I wonder who will be the first to break the 1,000 rwhp mark with our new D-1X headunit? I kinda think a Coyote might do it first.... BUT, I think there are some strong contenders here in the LT4/LT1 land. Granted that is WELL over the crank HP airflow we rate the unit at. But, obviously that hasn't been stopping anyone yet from turning them up. (All results below, have been accomplished BELOW the max-rpm rating of unit) So what you think? Will a 6th Gen claim it first? BLOG INFO BELOW: Quote:

Talking through a 6 speed or auto? If I could get (an honest no BS) 900whp through the auto with the D1X I would be jumping for joy.

I have a P1X on order with BPR on Long Island. Obviously I'm not doing a 1000 hp build. However, I'm just adding the SC and a Dyno tune. Nothing else. I'm curious as to what the system will add. I'd like to see a before and after Dyno. I hope I'll be over 550 to the wheels.

The Dodge's Dyno was on STD not SAE. :P Need a company like Cordes Performance in Phoenix to do a max effort D1x on an A8/drop in piston/rod Camaro. Would love to see that! Thanks for all the innovation and pushing on new developments. |

I know it was, that drives me a little nutty.
BUT, I know that they were also out of injector. And new 1700cc units have been ordered and are about to be installed. The fuel was the only thing holding the car back. SO, it might just be the first to crack the number. |
