Why hasn't CSP, Jannetty, WeaponX, juiced, or Vengeance...

Just wondering why none of the major shops have done a port injection build with the eforce and posting there results.. I agree the maggi is more efficient than the eforce so a lot shops choose that route however, once the eforce is ported its just as efficient and has more fueling capability for less money and less hassles. blower to blower its the same price even considering the porting.

Is it to complicated for these shops, is it easier and cheaper to just run a lot meth, do they just want to make more money and take an easier route selling the Katech/UWE setup?

Seems like Rabbitzl1, stock_amg_and_z06, and myself are the only ones that post up information. I know crawford does a lot work and I see a few of his customers post on FB every now and then but strange how no big shops are posting here with that setup.

Honestly I'm thinking it must be a money thing considering the meth route is probably 4k less than I spent on port injection and the katech/UWE way is 4 to 6k more than I spent.

I'm sure the old argument of the hole in hood is tossed around but, I saw for father day the LPE carbon inset was on sale.. and that looks better than a normal under side hood I think.. I mean who doesn't want more carbon lol!

This again?... OMG.

Check out the old CEO (I think it was) of Magnuson and his son's PI-build. There's some information if you are really interested.

Christ Almighty...

Well the Mag 2650 has been proven to make 850whp with cam and low side, plus all the other boltons. And this is without meth or running E. I believe most ppl feel that 850 is a solid number and pretty obtainable cost wise.

Why go with the EForce? Port injection and it can make over 1000whp! Sure but not many willing to pay that price. 850 will get you in the 9s.

It all comes down to the funds available. A lot of people would love to have it if it was more affordable. Some are happy with 850. Some are fine with just swaping tunes and running race fuel to get a little more. As time goes on we will no doubt see more PFI systems on both 2650s. These blowers are still relatively young.

Whats it cost to port a Eforce to make it just as efficient as the 2650 Heartbreaker? Just asking? 1500 plus shipping it to Kong or Jokerz? I was thinking that's about what if cost to do an Lt4 blower. Detuned mine to drive it on the street and it made 774 on 93 octane and it was not really much fun to drive on the street. Couldn't keep it in the correct lane when I got on it and I did drive mine when it made well above 850 and it was actually pretty dangerous to drive with a good street tire, even my 17" drag radial were not easy to handle on certain pavements.

4800 for blower and 1200 for porting. Vs 6000 for the blower and 200 for the TB adapter. I actually got mine for 4k but I have seen the eforce as low as 4300 and as high as 5300.

Not really arguing which is better now just not sure why there aren't bigger builds..

Don't forget I made 850 aswell before any porting it just took more pulley.

I'm 8.3 and 3 upper making 1000 w a little of 18 psi so pretty efficient now barely spinning it.

Well I make 780whp with the stock SC ported. I’ve heard rumors and of course facts from others saying heat soak as an issue. When driving it on the street I have seen no problems. My only gripe is Tq comes on too fast. Tires spin instantly. Would much rather have a progression.

Your right it comes on quick and doesn't last that was the 1st difference I noticed when I was over spinning my 1.7. The hp was close but the 2650 just kept pulling and pulling

Im considering going turbos So I can run 6/700 hp on the street then turn it up and make 9/1000. Not a lot of turbo setups posted here either. Why?? . Is it a cost thing? seems to me the fuel system would stretch further as well.

For me it was to finicky on my 5th gen.. and there were a lot bad builds I read about that made me never want to consider it again.

I've seen deals for $5800 for a Maggie. Just sayin'...

To each their own. I don't need it, and don't need the headache all of it encompasses to run PI. I think prices will come down on DI-upgrades as time marches on, too, which is nice, because that benefits everyone.

I, do, still want to see how the PI-setup is on the Maggie though. There's isn't a whole lot of room under the intercoolers, inside the tubs, above the ports, hahaha.

5800 plus 2 or 3 for 103 snout since Edelbrock is set up for 103mm all ready..

Port injection is port injection either blower same is need. If its block that fits between blower and head you will be cutting. Seeing picks that's what it looked like.

Simple really. They are chasing down the higher volume C8 market right now. They have to jump on the next hotness.
