I am extremely happy with the NPP exhaust.

I installed ARH long tube headers + a dyno tune and it made the NPP much, much more aggressive sounding and louder.

Stock, NPP was decent but I could have used louder. This was the perfect upgrade for sound + power. Now, I don't leave NPP on full OFF mode. When I want quiet, Tour is basically silent unless WOT. Eco is always silent. Sport has a perfect sound, although can get very loud under WOT. Track is just insane...

NPP is great for those who want to upgrade headers but not sound obnoxious 100% of the time. Its the best system IMO.

I had the opportunity to hear the stock and NPP side by side at Dave Smith Motors a few weeks back. Noticable difference to me. And the stock tail pipes look kinda sad compared to the preformance tips. I ordered NPP myself.
Just my two cents

Who did your work Stingray? I'm in North SD, and my wife works in OC. I'm looking for a place for headers, tune, etc.

I'm getting the NPP so it isn't too loud when I get headers.

My CTS-V has Corsas and had headers and it was too loud. Took the headers off. I'm hoping the NPP on the Vette plus headers will be "just right".

I had Cunningham Motorsports in Murrieta do the work.

Shoot them an email and tell Ryne that Kris with the white C7 that lives in Orange County sent you. They are very familiar with the C7 now and you are in good hands.

Trust me, go with ARH instead of Pfadt. They are all marketing hype and fit like crap. Cunningham can fill you in on that, but don't do what I did and use Pfadt first. ARH made more power on the dyno too.

I can assure you that with NPP you have the ability to make the car sound like a Toyota Camry or a full blown NASCAR stock car with NPP. Closed mode sounds like a stock passenger car, open mode sounds like cutouts with the NPP exhaust. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Ok, thanks good advice. I know CMS' reputation. Ryne is solid. I'd been thinking about ARH or Kooks, I'll take your advice and lean more towards ARH. Did you do any before/after pulls?

A little late to the party hear, but I love the dual mode on the Stingray. Its a little different from my 2012 C6. I tend to leave it in sport all the time. Whereas in my C6, I have a mild to wild switch and I find myself keeping in quiet mode more often than open. Hope that helps.

I never did a baseline pull, but my car made 439HP / 441 TQ with the Pfadt headers and 449 HP / 451 TQ with the ARH.

Both systems used catted mid pipes. Trust me, runs cats as the smell
Sucks without them and they are WAY loud when NPP is open. I can't imagine with no cats.

Opening an old thread, if anyone is unhappy with their performance exhaust, I will swap ya for the stock exhaust and some cash

I got it, and I love it. I've gone to Tour when I come into the neighborhood when it's late...that's about it.

I'm with Glen on this one.......
I ordered the performance exhaust on my coupe, the best part is the look of the larger pipes. I'm not really a fan of loud exhaust. I mostly keep it in Tour and it sounds fine to me. I've heard stock system and it has a throaty sound that would be fine for me. The real impressive sound (IMO) is the engine when you make it work a little. If I was ordering again I'd have to think twice about the NPP option.

I like the corsa sport, tips look wicked as well. Not too loud, nice grumble. Not sure what it would be like if you added headers though maybe too much.
