Convertibles are OK for the three $25 paced laps. They will not be accepted by most Driving Schools that allow flat out laps on the track. Safety factor of no rollover protection. I'm pretty sure the liability insurance held by the school or the track prohibits convertibles except those built with factory rollover protection. The paced laps are controlled where a driving school will allow you to go as fast as you have the nerve to do.

will the new Camaro be at the buffalo auto show? you look at the Major Special interest car list and its not on there. Just crap grocery getters. Really the Malibu and Cruze are Major special interest. Im going Sunday if they have one if not why bother. But if they do have a camaro its a dam base model v6. If someone goes post if they have a 2SS. Doubt the 1le will be there.

The new Camaros are on dealer lots now if you're just wanting to look at a 2016. My dealer in Rochester has a blue SS and a Charcoal V6

Hey all! Just a shot in the dark...I just bought a 99 Firebird Formula and I am trying to figure out what the heck has been done to it. It was a dealer trade in and the car has been in Rochester it's whole life. I am hoping someone has seen it at a show or at the track and knows the previous owner so I can get info on the mods done so far before I dig in blind.

What's the problem with the transmission? Is it an auto or manual?

It's an auto with no obvious issues, but the stock tranny is notoriously fragile. I was hoping the previous owner did some upgrades so I can start on the HP end, but it's pointless if the tranny starts throwing parts around at the track...
