camaro won't have 100 mph cut out, will it?
I'm hoping it won't be.like our 2007 chevy truck! That would ruin the fun! Not that the car will ever go over the speed limit!

It's due to tire ratings. I believe the cutout for the SS is 165.

It has been rumored that at least the V8 will go to 165. Believe that was confirmed by Jimmie Johnson.

I wish I could remove that top speed cutoff on my 02 DeVille. That car shuts down at 111mph.

Could be lower end cars like the GP run 106-109 for the lower end models with the gtp's and sportier trims running 126 or so.

just can't seem to leave

if you don't have tires rated to go 100, you'll be much happier doing 93 than doing 0 in the ditch, upside-down and bleeding
