Next week they are officially done. Dealers now know how many they are getting in the final week but we won't know constraints and what can be ordered until next Thursday.

With the consensus, GM tells us how many of each model we will be getting over the next 2 weeks. Dealers can ask for more or turn down units during the consensus.

Allocations come after the consensus is over and that's when we find out what options or packages are available or on constraint.

Glad I got mine while I did. Good luck to anyone still hoping for an allocation. I know its been said many times. BUT.....search chevy inventory every day! The one i snagged popped up one morning and it showed up at the dealership the next day. Some of the cars aren't showing up on the inventory site until well after they've shipped. They are out there, rare, but you just gotta keep searching and reaching out. I had plenty tell me "sold" before i finally found one that was available.

Luckily mine went 3400 status a few days ago and is TPW 10/16. Looks like next week it will be built and be a little closer to having this process wrapped up.

How accurate are these articles? They are saying order books for the coupe closed Sept 6. I'm hearing the last allocation day is Oct 19, so there may be some orders Oct 24.

Did the dealership have Allocation? Ordering was closed a while ago. Unless this order was already in the dealers system I doubt it will get picked up unless the dealership has allocation for this Thursday which they would already most likely know. If not you will be stuck at 1100 status and unfortunately not get picked up. Production ends 12/7.

Thanks GearheadSS, for the inside poop. I've been trying to get an allocation since June through two local dealerships with no result. I've bought two ZL1s from the first dealership, but they're in a small town with low sales, so they can't even get an allocation for a Camaro, much less a ZL1. The second dealership has larger numbers of sales, and actually got one of the CE ZL1s for a customer. I'm second on their waiting list for a ZL1, but time's running out. My salesman is appearing to be optimistic, but I'm not holding my breath. Luckily, I still have my 2021 ZL1, so I'm still driving an amazing car. I was just hoping to get a 2024 as the last year of the ICE Camaro.
