Need truck purchasing help!

So I'm getting ready to move to a place with about a 1000ft gravel driveway with a square of gravel lot by the house. This is in Indiana so we do get some pretty heavy snows as one thing to keep in mind. I still will need to buy a lawnmower and maybe 4 wheeler sometime, but I just don't know if they'd be up to dealing with snow at a place like this.

I'm wanting to get a truck in general to use for hauling stuff, maybe some small animal things etc.

You think getting a truck that can handle a snowplow is my best bet?

Adding together snow removal plus general truck use and price limit being $10k max, more like 7-8k, what would you suggest?

Would a half ton work?

To be honest... An Eco Diesel Ram is the best of both worlds.

At.. First, I wanted to say the new GMC Can but I'm not sure if the V6 can actually 1000ft of Snow
