I hear ya! That's what I'm waiting for also. I can't do much without knowing the price.

Funny. I prefer leather also.

Ferrari Alcantara probably isn't the same as GM's sueded microfiber. So yeah, in the Camaros it doesn't hold up as well as leather due to the oils on our skin. It feels good and because it's used in exotics, it gives people an illusion of superiority.

It feels good and it looks good but if you drive your car every day, you'll probably start to see the suede showing signs of wear faster than leather on the steering wheel and shifter.

This has not been my experience.

I don't like the glossy "gross" look most leather steering wheels tend to develop after a few years of use (and cleaning)...my suede stuff has, at worst, gotten a little less "fluffy" over the years.

I really like the alcantara on the interior. I think it looks better and it does serve a purpose on at least on the steering wheel, shifter and seats. I bought my car nearly 4 years ago and the alcantara has held up fine. You just need to clean it.

Exactly. I had Alcantara on a previous daily driver. It's just not worth it for a DD, the stuff starts taking a toll and ends up wearing pretty bad and stains. I would prefer leather, fake leather, or cloth over Alcantara.
