Mount Pleasant SC Checking In ...

Just got a black 2015 Z/28 today ...

Here's a quick terrible overexposed iPhone pic, but you guys know what a black Z/28 looks like:

Long time GM owner/enthusiast ... last four vehicles were GMT900 SUVs with tons of mods (happy to post pics if you want me to), but as you see in the pic as a result of me not liking the new design I switched to a 500HP full size RR V8SC.

This is my first Camaro ever, as all the other sports cars I have owned have been imports. I've only driven it 10 miles from the dealer to the house and I'm still grinning hours later.

I'm not planning to do much to her other than some tinting. Maybe a HID retrofit and the center console gauges if I lose a few pounds to compensate for them.

If you have it in you please be gentle with a real no0b who's identity resides somewhere between waxer and race car driver ... basically I bought this car to have fun in my spare time and to take her to the track a few times a year.

That's all I got for now ... it's nice to be part of this community.

Any feedback, comments, and suggestions are always welcome.

Cheers!

Serge

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome, love the car. I spent many years stationed in Charleston. Loved Mt.Pleasant area. We looked at some houses there when we were thinking about getting out in 2003.

Thanks guys ...

She looks even more menacing with 15% on the sides and back and air blue 80 on the windshield.

Will post a couple of more pics over the weekend..

well, maybe "lots" isn't the word to use, more like a great bunch of folks. lol We tried to get a weekly meet-up going and start a Camaro club, but we were only there for a year. We moved out last November. The Lowcountry muscle car club is probably the largest car club there, for Camaros anyway. They are pretty awesome too. They throw car shows and cruises.

here's a link to the local Camaro folks there.
