Changed My Order

Ordered early August and NOTHING has happened (yes my dealer has allocation).
Changed order today to Transparent Roof - I had ordered the exposed carbon fiber roof which we all know is constrained.
Hopefully, this gets my order moving.
I'm thinking I can purchase the exposed carbon fiber roof from GM much later when supply is not an issue.
Wish me luck.

Anyone else changing their orders in an attempt to speed up the process?

Yes did the same back in Sept... went with transparent roof. Got held at 3000 for approx 2 weeks due to this. No biggie... waited this long enough what's another few weeks or so!.

I was offered a similar situation. I was told I could have a non-z51 convertible in six weeks just recently, but I really have my heart set on the z51 package so I declined and decided to wait at least another 6 weeks. I hope this was not a mistake.
I will say from my experience with the c6 that the clear roof is great! It is like being in a convertible all year long.

My dealer called 9/13 and said my # was up, but I was looking at a significant hold for the roof. He also pointed out that if I wait, there might be something else causing another delay.
I opted to change to the glass/painted roof combo. Glad I did, as right after my order went 3000 was when the Z-51 constraint hit. Been sitting at 3400 all this week.
I was also thinking that it might be an option to buy later on.
