What is the difference that you are seeing? I believe that both have 4 exhausts, but the enhanced package affords an extra 5 HP.

I think he is referring to the exhaust tips being different sizes.

Also I think the 3" exhaust tips are like an inch out.

Rayo, it's not just the size of the outlet. The sounds are completely different. I had standard exhaust on my 07 C6 and when I upgraded to an 08 with dual-mode exhaust, I was blown away, not so much by the increased horsepower, but in the pure, erotic, soul-stirring note that dual mode exhaust produces. If there's an upgrade worth having, the NPP is it.

Thanks for the info. Yes indeed, just want to show the dif. between the standard and the extra option (Exhaust System Performance), I think its really worth the extra $1k.

This makes me feel a lot better about that last minute addition for my order. Thanks for putting my mind at ease.

I haven't driven my car much at all to notice the sound difference since it's winter here, but having the 3" instead of the 4" is killing me aesthetically. Whenever I see a photo of the 4" I slap my forehead because of my decision for the standard. It fills the area better, looks meaner, are spaced together evenly (no gap in middle) and has a better finish IMO.

Can you upgrade just the tips only? Does anyone have any ideas for me, thanks!

For myself in Canada it was a $1,255 option at purchase. Don't know what it would cost know to replace it. I was debating because it looks so much better, but you only get 5hp and I was afraid as a DD it would be too loud. Loud for me was cool for about 2 weeks when I moded my last car then I just got annoyed. I guess knowing more know how you can turn down the sound in settings I might have sprung for the option. It really makes the rear end look nicer IMO. Anyone have ideas or know if it's possible to get those tips put on my standard exhaust?
