In it's current form, the only thing a state can do is regulate what kind of gun you can carry.

They say what we can and can't do to protect ourselves. I'm baffled by what people think. I'm very frustrated with this whole way of thinking anymore. I'll just leave it at that, I don't want to get myself banned.

On a good note though, had a chance to hit the range this weekend. The Mrs shot the AR for the first time to. The Mrs opted to go with the iron sight instead of the red dot.

Unfortunately what the very cavalier man who uses the self-important nom de plume "The Rude Pundit" would find is that the same thing would happen as always:old guys and gals with no hide of their own at risk would get lots of young people killed. The names of those oldsters don't matter. It happened before Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc were ever in any type of office. That man is foolish and irresponsible to convey the message he shared. People like that are the ones that should be putting their butts at risk instead of being very happy to see their countrymen die.

It's not a Political concept, its simply one of unfeeling selfishness.

Anyway. Here's a photo of my 1943 Inland M1 carbine.

I picked up my Hybrid a few weeks ago along with a Harvester. Purchased both back in March. Haven't gotten a chance to shoot it much before I headed offshore for work. Impressed with it so far. Tried it on my Marlin 1895 in 45/70, my 458 SOCOM AR, an H&K USP 45, and a Glock 9mm. Functioned great on each.

Thank you for the input. Curious about your marlin did you add a threaded barrel? Would like to do a lever action .45-70 with a suppressor for home use myself.

Good looking carbine. I want to add one to my collection but prices have gone insane. I have a decent WWII collection started, so I may go with a Lee Enfield or Arisaka. The only thing holding me back from doing it is ammo availability. If I bothered to set up my new loading press, it wouldn't be as big of an issue.

I had a gunsmith thread the barrel 5/8 x 24 and move the front sight back.

Nice. That a 20mm round in the case?

The M1 carbine was a pretty big influence on me getting this ↓↓↓ . . . (Mini-14, shown with a NJ-compliant 10-round magazine)

Yeah, I have a smattering of old junk in there. It fascinates me that I can own bits of that history. Inert 20mm, some gas ration cards from 1944 that were my Grandfather's, a WWI and WWII Victory medal, Some homefront items, the mills belt, Model 1905 catjabber and scabbard, M1936 pistol belt with 1943 mag pouch, canteen and carrier, first aid pouch with sealed bandage and M1916 holster, 1944 M1 helmet and liner, and some other stuff.

Thank you for the picture. I hate to copy someone's gun but the one I want to do is a Winchester so it will be different. Did not even think about threading the current barrel. I do not know why because I have seen it done but a long time ago. Gun looks awesome.

My silencer collection.

I like loud cars and quiet guns.
