Look Binko, at the end of the day, the C7 is just a car. Yes, it might be over-simplifying it, but cars have problems from time to time....plain and simple.

I ordered a C7 too-it was supposed to be delivered in April 2014. I got lucky-a married couple pre-ordered a C7 AND WALKED AWAY FROM IT. I was the lucky recipient. I grabbed the car fast! I've just turned 1,000 miles on it and couldn't be happier.

Buying this kind of car is not for the weak at heart. No, you don't expect problems. Yes, you expect the car to perform flawlessly (relatively). All in all, this is a great ride. It's a kick in the ass to drive.

I went back and forth too. I didn't need this car-I wanted the car! When this car became available, I jumped on it. I have not regretted it-to this day......

Question about Lime Rock. I've always wanted to go, but the site makes it seem as though you need a membership to participate. Can you explain please? Or are most people only allowed on certain track days?

Binko, dude, chill. The car rocks. I've had zero issues and I'm at 800 miles. Everything is perfect. Well, it wouldn't start the other day because I didn't have my key in my pocket. It was in the house. LOL Other than that, its an incredible car. Have a Scotch on the rocks and chill out bro !

Nice little build! Stayed well below 60K too. What color ext/int did you end up choosing?

I picked mine up (#4332) at the museum, now at only 1000 miles.
No issues of any kind. No malfunctions, no squeaks or rattles. Also, I am a perfection is. I have looked at every seam and gap, fit up of body panels, interior, under hood lay out and neatness. I am convinced the car is nearly perfect. The only near gripe is paint "orange peel". It's not as good as I know GM can do but it's not bad. I've seen worse on some Mercedes and BMW's.

Only issue I've had is with speech recognition.
Press the 'off-hook' button on the wheel and the center display shows 'Unable to Start speech recognition'.

I've seen it twice so far, fortunately turning the car off/back on - resolved the issue.

Overall, my impression is that it is well built and QC for something with over 90% new components / new model is quite good. Looks great and is damn fun to drive!
