Talking Hyper Blue ZL1 on WoodWard Ave

Hey Everyone was a pleasure to be at the CamroFifty Rally this past weekend and even got the opportunity to sit in a Hyper Blue ZL1 Test Mule that just hit 1000 miles on it. Talked to the GM guy and his family who was driving the vehicle and they absolutely loved it and yes got many photos so wanted to post them here.... let me know what you think as the 2017 ZL1 will be a limited production run so get to your dealers and ask about allocation right away!

Here are some great photos!

Right there on the End ... ZL1

Thanks for sharing. CF hood insert almost looks a little brownish. Might just be the lighting though.

Those wheels don't look very good with the hyper blue.

Why doesn't the HBM ZL1 have a manufacturer's tag on it? I notice a lack of the middle M on that plate. Thought even CTF's had maker plates on them?

The car has the exposed CF hood and the black center stripe. According to the ordering guide, that should not be possible....Interesting.

Well, these are also pre-prod non-customer vehicles, so they can build however they'd like and could do that on purpose to test the matching and longevity/durability of both pieces on the same car w/o actually offering that combination on an order.

Yes, it seems odd it doesn't have a mfg plate AND of course the employees love the car. Lmao
The gen 6 does have a more angry stance than does the gen 5. It gives the
"I'm serious look to you".

The only time a vehicle has to have an "M" plate is when it is not at a "Saleable" level. All CTF vehicles are AT LEAST Saleable and will go to auction/sale after the evaluation period. M plate vehicles go to the crusher since they are not production/federalized/etc.

Sad. One of the few A10's in existence may go to the crusher. Lol I say turn em into race cars.

Does the diameter of the sunroof sit completely within the center stripe width? The photo looks very close but the angle is too low to tell.

No, the sunroof is wider than the stripe.
