Yeah I was wondering if anyone would catch that. I think it was Yankee Rose? It's been a while.

Try an aftermarket solution like the Sprint Booster which remaps the gas pedal to throttle position curve. Something like a poor man's sport mode.

Also, LS3 is definitely stronger > 3k rpm.

Actually feel the exact same way with my 2012 SS. I drive my dads 2011 and once you press the gas just a little, the thing jumps and is ready. With my 2012, I feel as though I have to press the pedal down almost flooring it just to show its power even after installing the CAI. Think its time for a fuse pull.

What has your dad done to his? I'm not aware of any reason that a 2012 should feel slower than a 2010, unless the '10 was modified.

He has literally done nothing to his car, since the first day i bought my car before any modification we BOTH noticed this and im just convinced the previous owner of my car wasnt running 93 octane or something.

I wanted it to be the fastest car I've ever owned by a decent margin and you can see from the list of mods below what that took.

It's a great car straight from the factory with no mods but it is not blindingly fast. Break it in, put on the Vmax throttle body, a good intake, and a louder exhaust and see what you think. If you want it to be a lot faster than that, be ready to spend some money and kiss your warranty goodbye.
This is correct.
