Yes it will work for a zl1. Mine is ZL1 front with APR splitter on as we'll. Its a snug fit. Purchased from Ohio speed and be sure to ask for discount code. He gave me one but can't remember exact code.

Painters tape can be obtained at any home depot or Lowes...Thought about that at first but wanted something quick and easy. This takes less than 2 min to install
