OD Cog questions
I am thinking about having an OD Cog installed but I have a few questions. I understand the whole 1:1 ratio Cog but what would be the next step up in size and where will it put my boost at on my Magna? I've been told the next size up would be approx. 25% increase in boost. Seeing is how I'm somewhere around 7 psi on stock Magna setup (can someone confirm this) isn't that going to put me at almost 9 psi? With that being said I have read that 10 psi is a bit high for a stock Cam on 93 pump gas. I always like to stay safe and conservative as this is my DD. Is it recommended to add a smaller pulley up front when running off a stock bottom and cam? If so what pulley should I go with up front? Or, will I be fine with just the rear OD Cog plus the ID850's, ZL1 fuel pump, ADM fuel controller, 2" headers and CAI I will also be having installed at the same time? Thanks for the help guys and gals.

Would more than likely be closer to 11 psi.

I would go with the OD and if you are concerned about too much boost, pulley off the front to drop boost

Maggie on stock 3.8 pulley I made 7.6 psi
Added headers and it dropped to 7.0 psi Added OD cogs and I make around 11psi depending on weather. I have the blower with stock 3.8 front pulley, OD cog rear, headers, and an adm cai. The day we dynod it, it was around 75deg and made 550/565 and peaked right around 10.7psi. The other night it was around 35deg and I saw 11.3 psi, letting off at ~5700. I'm running stock internals(only mods listed above) on pump gas with Siemens deka 63# injectors, zl1 pump, and adm FPCM getting plenty of fuel

OD Cog questions
Wow. See that is my concern. I really don't want to go higher than 9 maybe 10 psi at the very very max. Everything I have seen on here people running straight rear OD Cog are pushing 11. Kind of turning me off the idea of OD Cog. Only thing I'm concerned with playing with front pulleys is belt slippage. If I go with the front 3.6 pulley do I have to get different belt and better tensioner?

You have the fuel mods, headers and CAI. Go with the OD rear cog. If you have too much boost go a little bigger on the front pulley.

If I was spending the money on cogs I would do the od and go with a bigger front pulley for belt wrap.
