will I need to change tensioner

Hi there, before I get into changing the serpentine belt on 5.7, is it likely I will also need a new tensioner. Its a new car to me, (with 55kmiles on it and i'm working my way through the usual things). It looks like the original belt is still fitted (or certainly an oldies one); no idea if the tensioner has ever been changed. There's no weird noises from the motor when running though so nothing to indicate a dodgy tensioner or idler.....
