ANOTHER reduced engine power incident.

well, i resolved the issue of my throttle postion sensor from last week.

NOW... i turned off stabil trak. Floored the car from a dead stop. got a little wheel hop. "Service stabil trak" message appeared ...then back to reduced engine power. so i limped it back home on 4 cylinders and cleared the code. it comes back anytime i hammer on the accelerator. the car rolls fine. did not hear or see anything broken other than the codes and messages and reducing my power. any takers on this one?
thanks.

sounds like the throttle body is opening too far, the computer has to relearn where the max value is. not sure how to fix that. maybe just time

I just installed one a few hours prior to all this. First. Time wot and bam. I got stabiltrak service message and reduced engine power. I can get 8cylinders back as long as I don't get aggressive. If I do then its back to reduced power.

Take apart your wiring harness on the throttle body and take a close look to make sure one of your male pins is not bent. Also check any grounds that may have loosened.

I still cant find anything out of the ordinary with the naked eye.
Im am kind of reluctant to send it to the dealership.
Can anyone recommend a good electronics tech/mechanic for this type of issue in the southern US?
