I read all four pages and had to scroll up to even check what this thread was about.
2014 Camaro will probably arrive late summer/fall is my guess. And unless there is some significant change, packaging wise, I suspect they'll be priced about the same as 2013.

AI think they will keep the LS3 and attached it to a manual 7 speed like the corvette with dual exhaut that would be a good package

Maybe the true reason behind him wanting a ttv6 is to compensate for something that his "little" na/v6 can't.....

No reason? A V6 will NEVER sound like a V8! I don't care what you do to it. Straight-pipe it, headers, high-flow cats...it doesn't matter. I've heard V6's with just about every combination of exhaust you can throw at it and it sounds like a V6, not the rumble of a V8. It also doesn't make sense that this new TTV6 makes 420 hp and the LS3 makes 426 hp. Why would GM have two engine options so close in hp rating on the same model? It's illogical if you ask me. The TTV6 sounds cool for sure, but it's just not for me in a muscle car. To each his own. Get a V6 to sound like this:

A modern V8 will never sound like an old carbed V8, so what's the point?

This is one of the stupidest catch phrases ever. Displacement =/= power.

Best sounding V6 I've ever driven was the VR6 from VW in my 2003 GTI.

Still sounded like a V6 though.

A V8 is what defines american muscle. that little rumble at idle sitting at a stop light tempting and begging you to drop the hammer at the green light.

I'm not getting into a pissing match via the internet. We get it, you have a V6 and you're happy with it. Stop arguing and get a V6 to sound like a V8. I already said in my prior post that the TTV6 sounds like a cool set-up, but it's just not for me in a muscle car. Wow, people on internet forums have differing opinions...who would have thought?

What's does that have to do with the sound difference between a v6 and a v8? Some of you guys are really grasping at straws for no reason. A v6 is a great engine and can make big power but when it takes more parts, more money and yet it weighs roughly the same with no added fuel economy or cost advantage why bother? Are you honestly trying to say all things equal you would pick a v6 over a v8 based on sound alone?

To address part of the OP's questions. Chevy changed their website last year in the month of June. (meaning you could start ordering 2013's in June of 2012). Can't remember the exact date. Maybe the middle of the month.
