GM will give two free oil changes in the first two years. They will use the right synthetic oil.

Your only choice is Sunset as far as I know. I have had excellent results with Cox in Bradenton. Roberto Alanso is the service manager. Excellent dude.

Had my first service done @ Cox last Thursday, oil change, inspect ticking sound while turning, rear diff flush, brake noise. Erik Wiehl was the service tech and he was great. I was a little nervous because, 1LE, but he had his Corvette specialist Roger knock everything out, they both took me to the car while it was on the lift and explained everything, including why they didn't recommend the diff flush (they tested the fluid, showed me). They also showed some corrosion build-up between the wheel and rotor mounting surfaces, cleaned that up and the ticking noise was gone, referenced service doc #4625504. Back to the diff flush, they were happy to take my money if I chose to disagree but were honest about it, I would highly recommend.

While I haven't had good luck buying cars from Cox, the service department has always exceeded my expectations.

Travis Powers @ Cox for service writer (overall great guy). Ron Potts for Sales is absolutely the best I've ever dealt with.

Stopped in at Sunset to meet the service mgr. Nice guy. Their senior tech does the Corvettes.

I saw a gen 5 getting a new evap coil... big job. Was not impressed that half the interior was splayed across the trunk and roof without anything protecting the paint.

I think I'll be doing my own oil changes. $50 just aint worth a trashed paint job.
