Sorry V-6 Owners
I talked to my sales manager today and found out that I will get a build this coming cycle (April build) as long as the V-6 in front of me is still on constraint. I respect every future Camaro owner and am not usually selfish, but I got to admit I hope the V-6 is still on constraint. I hate that I have discovered this selfish bone in my body but I can't say that I don't want this build spot. Please forgive me

We all are ready to get our cars so I don't see that as selfish. Hopefully we will all be getting our cars very soon. I can't wait.
Ordered: 2Lt/Rs as well |

I'm still not understanding this "V6" constraint thing. How can cars that were ORDERED be constrained? Build the frikkin' cars that were ordered.
This is the most bizarre roll-out of a car I've ever heard of. It's almost as if they don't WANT to sell them! |

You're paying more money so it seems fair you should get your car earlier.

I've had patience since october 13th at 9:00am.
Ive had patience driving a freakin' truck for the past 6 months (and i HATE trucks) I've had patience watching several V8 orders go to 3400. But this constraint is making me VERY Impatient. I don't think its right. Build the sold orders. IF my order doesnt go through this week im gonna be pissed.

Sorry making fun of title the "owners" threw me off (no one owns it till you actually take delivery IMO*). It's like kissing the bride your a customer till you get it.

I just don't understand why someone doesn't come on here and say "hey, we all know the v6 cars are constrained, but your dealer will beable to put your order through on this date" I mean come on! Is that too much to ask for? Stop all this nonsense! We deserve the right to know, so we can stop worrying how much longer its gonna be before we get our car that we ORDERED! The one thing that makes my chances good is the fact that Chevy has told the dealers that they will all have a V-6 in their show room by may 6. Unless Chevy rolls out some big production numbers in the next couple weeks I doubt they lift the constraint
