Falken Azenis FK453

I just bought my first replacements for the Goodyears. I found Falken Azeni FK453's in 275-35-20 and 315-35-20. I had them mounted over the weekend, but didn't get a chance to install them with all the rain we had in the Philly area this weekend. For me the 300 tread wear vs 220 for the Goodyears and the price of $871 for all 4 vs $1400 for the Michelins were the deciding factors. They look really good and the rubber seems sticky enough, but the proof will come after I install them.

keep us informed. That's a great price for tires.

Not that I could find. Hopefully a 10mm decrease in front won't cause any issues.

Put them on the car yesterday. Everything seems to fit fine. It is still a little chilly here in the mornings and these tires acted a little like the Goodyears in the cold, easy to get slip under acceleration. After they warmed up they felt and drove fine. I will provide additional updates over time to let you guys know how I like them.

Any update on these tires? How are they working out for you? I'm shopping around for different options, so I was very happy to find this thread!

This. I'm looking too. Where did you end up ordering from?

Same here. Makes you wonder if they aren't counterfeits.

I bought them at Discount Tire Direct. I have no clue why they don't show the 315-35-20 on the Falken website. Maybe it is a relatively new size for them? I just noticed they have a 285-30-20. That may have been an acceptable front size, but too late now.
Anyway, after driving on these for awhile I definitely like them. They are quiet and predictable in dry and wet weather. They do not have the ultimate grip of the Goodyears, but I expected that with the increased tread wear. I plan to go to the strip soon, and I will see if my 60 foot times suffer at all.

Booya, if you mean tire size; c'mon man, give me more credit than that. I learned how to read tires sizes before alot of people on this forum were even in diapers. I once made up my own sizing chart for getting the best tire fit on my classic Camaro's. In other words, yes I have 275's and 315's.
