Yep, all oem pieces are going to be more expensive than you think. And when going through Gen5diy, that's always a good call and they are cheaper than what from the factory would be.

I can see them being that expensive just because it's the newer model and not many are being sold as individual pieces currently. And I don't think aftermarket will touch them because not many people buy the oem parts without getting the package first.

Waiting might help, not sure if ebay has any that someone is parting out

So you know list per headlight is $1250 from a dealer, so its not that bad and there is a core charge to add to list.

Well I know the tail lights are completely different but are the headlights really that different from the 2013 to the 2014? I mean the front end is different yeah but the nose is just dipped down and grill smaller. This makes the lights look smaller but does anyone know if they are actually any different? Hoping a 2013 retrofit on my 2014 would work :/

Yeah they are pretty different. The actual halo itself is very different than the 10-13s, then the shape is different to go along with the new bumper and on top of that the wiring is going to be different as well. So no point in trying to make the 10-13 lights fit on a 14.

Famous phrase, gotta pay to play. If you want the halo's either wait for the aftermarket or get oem take offs like from Gen5diy, that's the route I would go IMO

How is that expensive? RS headlights from 10-13 cost $1,500 new with no harness I'm pretty sure...

I bought my pair for 340. Both had damaged tabs that I easily repaired. One had the projector mount clips broken too which I sourced similar ones and replaced. As for the wiring, it cost me under $25. Just needed 2 relays and added 2 pins to the stock plug. All done and installed for under $400.

I got a pair of RS LED tails for $300 and that wiring cost me $40.

Yeah and those might not turn out the way you want them too. For me I generally stick with OEM lighting. But all user preference. Basically OEM stuff is expensive and vendors here generally give good deals on them since they know we want the stuff and they don't want to screw us over like msrp does
