Another '14 1LE order

I just put my order in for a '14

... Went to another dealer because last week the dealer I went to basically shoved me off as some kid window shopping and I put a $1000 deposit. I should hopefully get an order number next week pending credit approval and a "reasonable" price.

Awesome! If you don’t mind once you are able to discuss price with your dealer can you share it here with us? I am going to get a 14 1LE as well but I want to know if dealers are going to try and jack up the price on the new model year cars. Thanks.

Thx all. I ordered AGM as my color choice because there is no light blue which would have been my first choice. But I think its going to look amazing regardless.

As for pricing I basically walked in and said I didn't want to pay msrp for the car and in the borderform they wrote refundable deposit if price isn't in the "window" that we agreed on. The window was basically the invoice pricing of a ’13 +- $500 so we will see what that gets Mme. The dealer was quick to ask for a deposit but they seemed genuine in trying to sell the car... what was weird is that I walked into the dealer and the first sales person scooped me up but I found out later that they had a "performance sales team" right next door in another showroom that should have taken the sale.... I kinda felt bad but if I get a good deal then I'll do whatever I need to haha.

P.s. haha had a laugh when I left, I ordered the sunroof option and when I was on my way home I got a phone call asking if I wanted a coupe or convertible...

Just find a dealer that will give you at least $3000 off MSRP and don't settle for anything less. There should be 2014 pricing complete with invoice coming soon. If this years pricing thread is as good as last years it will break down the invoice price of every model and option.

So what is your expected purchase price?

Invoice for a 2013 1LE with those options should be about $40,500 not including destination charge, so possibly within $500 of that would be the window pr3dict has negotiated for. If I could get a dealer to commit to that window I think I would put in an order myself. It sounds like dealers aren't expecting a big increase in price for the 14's, I just wonder what incentives they might have available. Please keep us updated pr3dict and congrats!

im so upset ... went to the dealerships today trying to get another camaro I wanted a 13 Camaro 2ss 1le 6 spd with roof in red on black rims... they said they couldnt find one in 1500 miles.... so i guess 14 it is? keep us updated on price so i can go try to snag up a great deal on one... im getting no love since this will be my second camaro in 1 year... went to same dealership i bought my first one from inquiring about the new corvette stingray... guy wanted to mark it up 5k , called another dealer ship they said no mark up... lol i said WTH? .... some dealers are just not right......
