I’m still scratching my
Head to see if I wanna move my battery to one of the side panels or
Not .. it seems most people with a ice trunk tank just mount it top of the battery .. I would rather have the battery out of there but I’ll settle to leave the batt if it’s too much of pain in the arse

My past experiences I’ve always used optima but my last battery I tried the blue max battery - one took a crap within a year - they said the battery frozed..

Battery’s plus top notch battery — so yeah I’m leaning towards all battery’s are pretty much the same for the most part

Make sure it has the proper fittings for the air tubes, which is recommended in the owners manual. Camaro Time made a video on this.

I am assuming the AC Delco options will.

Thank you sir! If it wasn't for you saying Summit had good pricing I might have bought the Diehard from Autozone here in town for $209.

Summit had the 94R delivered for $166 and its AGM. Nice.
Now if only it will arrive in one piece.

I'm going to get a new battery this weekend and will get a Duralast from AutoZone, only because that's the brand of the current battery and I have a $10 off coupon.

Plenty of this to ditch other than battery to save weight. Like rear and pass seats. Plastic

AC Delco Battery came in today from Summit and in 1 piece. Packaged pretty well in a double box, but could have used more foam on the bottom.

It came in at 12.5 volts and I put on the auto charger to top it off.

Thanks for the tip Joe!

Oh no, AC Delco is the worst one you can get.

Joking. Here is a review of some batteries if you want to waste some time.
glass mat batteries and lithium are different than regular lead acid. The voltages of fully charged and characteristics are not the same.
There is a "computer program" in our cars set to charge and maintain AGM batteries which for one thing take higher volts than a lead acid standard. Also IIRC they don't always fully charge it to save mpg (and wear on battery?) The AGM are more deep discharge and vibration and spill resistant which I think is why they use those on cars where the battery isn't outside the cabin e.g. under the hood in case of an accident and acid flying around. And there is a vent tube going outside through the body.

External Battery chargers ideally are also setup to either auto switch or manually switch for AGM's. Mostly I think for higher fully charged volts.
I think I've heard of some people putting in lithiums with a big fail. It might work for a while but it's not setup for that.

I always buy Everstart Maxx batteries from Wal mart. I buy the best one they sell and they always seem to last a very long time. I had one in my previous Camaro that was 14 years old and still going strong when I traded it in for my current Camaro. Just buy the best one they sell and you will be OK.

Yep, those Maxx have a good review from users (so far) and I run them in everything. And anyone that thinks the yellow and red top batteries are fantastic like the old days, you might wanna do some checking first. Sign of the times, profit over quality.
