Winter Wonderland

This is how it looked in St. Catharines first thing this morning. I shovelled the snow twice yesterday. The Firebird in front of the Alero looks like a big snow drift. How did everybody else make out?

we made out without so much as a bit of ice... Round Rock, which is 50 miles north of us, got snow... and Dallas, I'm told, got almost a foot of it... I love central Texas because we almost never get really bad winter weather

North Fl. Some nasty winds and rain. But not too bad. Tornado watch for a few hours. No major damage.

I really miss living in San diego..... I don't know how you all afford it. I've been looking at buying a house out there... Holy Moly!!

Oshawa isn't looking much different. We lost our recycling box in the snow, we will dig it out sometime.

Here's my logic, when it gets cold, you can put more clothes on. But when its warm, there is only so much that you can take off, and that doesnt always work. Plus, in the winter if your moving around you stay warm but in the summer, it only makes things worse.

We are still trying to figure out how we can afford one. My wife and I are living in a granny flat in her parents house. After we finish school we might be able to afford a house.

It wasn't too bad today...very overcast....cool in the lower 60's and kinda humid.

I'd love snow once a year. That'd be nice!

Fair point, and heat stroke kills more people than hypothermia does. But something happens to me when I get cold... I've learned how to exist in the heat. Pay attention to what my body tells me LOTS of water... If I lived where you guys are... I'd look like...

Randy: [whining] Mom, I can't undo my knot, I have to go!
Ralph's Mother: Ralph, would you help your brother?
Ralph: For crying out loud! O.K. runt, let's go!

lol, some of us start wearing shorts a few weeks after the snow melts. By then it can get up around 15 C (60 F) on warm days. Skirt-day is celebrated on the first day where it is sunny and warm. Well, the ladies celebrate it, they guys merely observe the unofficial holiday.
