WoW this is awsome!!! Though I doubt this ever making it into the Camaro out the gate, maybe the compartment will be big enough for us to drop one in!

Cheers!!

I'm sure it would be easy to drop one in. The block would likely be the same size, or close to it, of the stock V8's block. I'm sure you'd need a taller cowl on the hood though, as it looks like the ZR1's is taller than the Concept Camaro's.

True, but the Corvette's hood is 'low' normally. I'm thinking that with the concept's cowl - there'll be an abundance of space over the normal block to work with.

Yeah, only thing I'm kind of thinking about now is.. Other exotic sports cars may say "Oh the Corvette has to have a super charger to compete with us." Meh.

IMO. the LS9 is above the exotics and the LS3 competes with them!

The first ZR-1 was thought of in 1989, but production was held up to 1990 because of insufficient availability of engines caused by additional development I'm 99.9% sure... From there they made it up to 1995 with some changes to the motor. The last ZR-1 was built on April 28th 1995, which is now in the National Corvette museum. So yeah your right, 1995 and now they will be brought back next year.. Can't wait

This time their going to be much more expensive than the ones 12 years ago =[. But well worth the price in my opinion!
