interesting. i find the zl1 one pretty impressive. i rember my dad talken to me about one when they first came out. he said when he first say it at the track it was a regular 69 camaro. but when it ran those 12's it was super impressive. biggest sleeper in the automotive industry ever. back than worth 7,000$ now worth 1million+

No, it's probably correct. Traffic increased dramatically in the L.A. area in the late 70s and early 80s. It wasn't until much later that the highways were expanded greatly. Even now I would venture to say that the average speed is less than 45 mph.

During my morning commute my average speed is only 21.5 mph. (According to the DIC)

Yup...stop and go in the mornings and afternoons when I was there visiting my dad. However, it was a busy 80 mph the rest of the time w/ everyone else!!
