LS3 or LSA,... either powerplant w/ 400+ (maybe 500+) ponies would be good for me. Of cousrse I hope the guys from SLP, CraneCams, Edelbrock, Holley (Lunati), etc, etc, etc, offer mods right off the bat.

If I could the first mod I'd throw in would be 290+ adv. duration cam with .550+lift, a good set of full length headers bolted up to a true dual 3" exhaust to dual Super 44s,...

My goal is to over hear someone say "didn't take that guy long to mod his Camaro",..

Everything points to the ls3 with at minimum 400 hp. I would not be surprised if it were 430. I noticed the g8 got the ls3 now at 402 hp.

I want the LS7, but just because I want it doesn't make it true.

I know it's wrong, but I'm so hyped on the LS3 in the base V8 that anything else (L76) would really disappoint me. Unless of course they were to surprise us with a Gen V motor, but we all know that's not going to happen...right? Yea, I know it's not.

We can always motor swap. It's going to be amazing either way. There will be plenty of aftermarket available. I'm not too worried. The LS3 is a great motor. The L76 is a great motor. Don't take my indifference as not caring. I'd rather have the LS3 also, but there's no reason to worry. Both have a great deal of potential.
