Doesn't the placement of the sideview mirror look a little different? The rendering looks slightly further back.

I have to say the front of the rendering I actually like even more than the concept. But the rear... I just don't like it flat very much. Won't stop me from buying, but would prefer the concepts rear.

EDIT- Actually, looking at the 2 pics, I'm almost positive the side view mirror are actually quite different, not just placement.
I can't make a call on the rear yet based on just one angle from a photo... as I noticed after seeing the Concept in person, the real deal looks completely different from photos.

As for the sideview mirrors... that may be the difference in the roof you are noticing... just a thought.

True on the in person thing.

I hadn't thought about the sideview mirrors looking different due to roof adjustments. Good point.

Looking again, I do see a difference in the mirrors.
Maybe one is closer to production intent

something to remember about the "Monaro Camaro" is that its a GTO under the skin... so while the outside says "CAMARO", its not a 100% lead as to what the production version will look like.

the other pics, however, do seem to show some differences... the mirror shape is slightly different... does not appear to be swept back as far... probably to accomodate shorter drivers and their side view needs... and the new, higher roofline brings that out, too... the front and rear fascias are definitely different and the side markers seem to be a little larger than before... the stance of the car is higher up than the original coupe... this could be because of the suspension or it could be an optical illusion caused by a change from 21"f & 22"r wheels to 18"f & 19"r wheels, which would be more in line with current Corvette wheel production.

I think all of the changes I've seen so far have been upgrades... and I'm happy to see things progressing in a close to Concept fashion... anybody got a side view of the 'vert that we can compare the the GMCanada pic? because I know the front end of the 'vert is different than the original silver coupe

Exactly. It's running an E92 so it doesn't matter it's a done deal. Then again all I do all day is do "impossible" things on various GM modules
