well my other cousin, who is the older brother of that red s2k in the other thread
wants to go against me as well, after going against my bro's scion. I came to the conclusion due to his 4 bangers I might get blown away.

what are your thoughts? his is manual.

Not to be rude, but you're going to get spanked. That car is in a whole different league. Just make fun of his god awful "hellaflush" wheel fitment and his ricey front plate.

Not so sure about that...Those Evo 9's are 13 second cars off the lot, so is the SS

Agreed, a stock evo IX is a drivers race with an SS from a dig with the ss holding a slight advantage over the 1/4. From a roll the SS is considerably faster. However, evo 9s have pretty large turbos from the factory and with minor bolt ons can be 11 second cars easily. We have one in the university car club that made damn near 400awhp with just bolt ons and e85. That's in a 3300lb car.

Stock vs. stock a Camaro SS has the advantage over a EVO (any year). The Camaro SS also traps much higher in the 1/4 mile.

It is also much easier to get a stock Camaro SS into the 12s than a stock EVO. A 12.9 in a stock EVO is an extremely fast run and doesn't happen very often. A 12.9 in a stock Camaro SS is more common place.

But the EVO in the picture is defintely not stock. And off course it would be silly for a stockish V6 Camaro to race him.
