Example of what Frost is talking about. Really wish I would have seen this earlier.

I actually got mine up and running last night and it was easy. I made a custom PID but ended up using the standard lc-1 input in HPT since it was dead on. Never would have guessed it would be so easy.

My Autometer WB/Lambda gauge uses a Bosch sensor but had no offset into HPT that I had to compensate for. 0-4v output needed a custom PID. I think & tune in Lambda as that was how I learned years ago. Works best for alternate fuels. Pod mounted the gauge on the column using an SLP pod.

It's perspective though, because all of these units are measuring in lambda and then converting to AFR based on a fixed fudge factor for 'known' stoich, so even when you think you are tuning by AFR...

Lol. I wish it was feasible some day I would be as knowledgeable about tuning with hp tuners as you are...

The analog output is lambda. AFR is just another way of viewing the same data. Dedicate yourself to the cause. There is no reason that you can't get to his level. He us just ahead of you in time.

In answer to the OP's original question, I tried pin 47 and could not get it to work. Tried pin 55 on the gray connector and bingo: AFR voltage into my EFI live scans over the EGRS PID.
Your tuner has to turn the EGR functionality on in your tune for this to work.
