Assuming that's the correct belt length; it doesn't sound like belt slip (which you normally wouldn't get with a larger crank pulley because of the added belt wrap). Sounds like a supercharger problem, but it's hard to say. I would remove the SC belt to see if it goes away.

sounds like a screaming idler. Take off the supercharger belt and start the car to see if the noise disappears. You may get a check engine light but you can quickly diagnose where he scream is located that way. When the belt is off(engine off) try to rotate all of the components by hand and see if one of the idlers has a tightness or rough feeling. That is not belt slippage...how obnoxious!

The problem is that it's not consistent. It doesn't happen every morning, and it's happened even in the mid-afternoon. So I'm not sure how to diagnose this at all. And it only lasts a few seconds to a few minutes, and will go away for the rest of the day.

Remove the belt and clean the groves on the back, look for very small peebles as they get trapped under the belt. Also clean the pulleys wth a damp rag to catch all the small particles. That should do it.. If by chance it doesn't remove the idler puller and check for bearing free play, spin in hand.. I have heard this more than once including on mine. By the way the air conditioning belt is a stretchy and can be reused. You just need to walk it back on the pulley..

I'll give this a try tomorrow and see if it happens again. When you say that you heard this on yours, was it consistent or did it vary in time and length of it happening?

At idle when you start it then goes away with higher revs or after it warms up. eventually it wont go away..

Started the car this morning, and no sound. The plan today is to remove the belt and hand spin the pulleys and also check the belt.

Took off my supercharger belt and sound went away, did this multiple times to verify. The supercharger is making the rattle and now with the whine this verifies that my supercharger is failing. I'm taking it to my tuner on Monday to put back on my original crank pulley and my original tune and then taking it to the dealership to get the SC replaced. Expecting to be down without the car for around 3 weeks :/

I doubt the whine you had on the video is supercharger, but if you have the rattle and your dealer confirms replace it. Why 3 weeks ? Have them order the unit and schedule it when they can take it in and work on it. Everyone I know including mine where done in the same day..

I'm just not sure what it is, I'm kinda in over-reaction mode because the car is my most favorite thing. So after watching videos, I don't believe the supercharger is rattling because i did not hear as loud of a rattle as others who had to replace there supercharger. I may just be hearing things now because it's stressing me out. I do know for a fact though that there is no screeching sound when the SC belt is off. However, I can't get it as loud of a screech as i did when i recorded the video. Additionally it's just so inconsistent. It's there at idle, very low, going on and off, and occurs sometimes when i begin to drive, but will usually go away.

So I did have some concern with the supercharger pulley. Is it supposed to be able to spin about 5-10 degrees both ways before it "turns" or is there not supposed to be so much leeway?

Has anyone had the supercharger squeak that comes after the rattling if you don't replace your supercharger?
