Major Leak

Here is a picture of where the convertible top meets the deck lid. It is suppose to seal under the deck lid and mine has about a 2" gap there. Anyone else run into this problem. And as luck goes. My car was just dropped off at my office at 11 AM and at 12:30 it starts pouring down raining. When it slowed down enough I looked out the window of my office and I could see a puddle of water on the top of the car so I went out there to see why it was there and realized how loose the top was so I started looking around the seal and here is a picture of what I found. This was taken from the passenger's side of the car and you can see the third brake light and the antenna but you also can see where the rubber is suppose to seal under the deck. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or some of you might want to check and see if you are having this problem.

That's one of the areas I inspected before I took delivery. I've had the top up and down a few dozen times, and mine has remained tight under the deck lip. Yours has definitely pulled away from the deck, if it was ever sealed at all. How much water got into your trunk area?

Can anyone send me a picture from the same angle that is in post #1 so I can show the dealer what it is suppose to look like. He thinks mine looks NORMAL!!!!!!! I told him I would drop a light in the crack so he could see the light. No pun intended. I don't have time to take another picture today.
He also said he looked at one on the lot and stuck his hand down in there and it was wet so he try again to tell me it was normal and i told him that that one has the same problem as mine Thanks in advance for the photo.

Yes, and I sent my salesman an e-mail with the bulletin #'s and he assured me that ALL bulletins would be taken care of before they could even release the car. Someone got lazy on the job, looks like to me. How could anyone think that this looks NORMAL!!!!!!!!

Good to see ctinatx beat me to it. I grabbed via cell phone so not as good but your dealer can still clearly see the difference.

Those were perfect. Thanks
The dealership was trying to tell me that mine looked normal and I wanted to prove them wrong. I've got an appointment tomorrow morning at 7:30 to get it fixed.
Thanks again.

Wouldn't the pool of water inside be a good indication? Just sayin'....

You would think the pool of water would be a good indication but he went out to one on the lot and dropped the top and it was wet inside also so he told me that was normal!!!!!! But when I sent him these other pics and he could see the difference he changed his mind.
I will be taking it in in the AM.
Thanks again for the pics.
