Im typing this from my iphone.
I am outside the gate at willy wonkas chocolate factory.
I am calm and collect atm. Two cars are in front of me. A
Newer trailblazer (probably for service) and a 88 or 89 chv truck
Wich i thing is the guard unlocking the gate. This too shall pass.....

I hate it when the dealer has the upper hand. They play games...

No pricing today. Everyone is going in blindfolded as far as pricing.

what a sigh of relief...
Met with the assistant general sales manager today.
He said they had all my information, and nothing to worry about.
He muttered a lot of internal jargon that I did not understand..
something due to a "two week period"
I said I have to wait two weeks for a number??
He said no, they will give me my number by 1pm on monday..
I told him only thing I wanted was the order number. He rest assured me I will have my number and he will have my sales man to call me by 1pm on monday or I could call in for it. He mentioned the fleet manager already took all of my information and I was in the dealerships system. The fleet manager does all the ordering for my dealership and he has taken care of me already. The assistant manager said something to the effect "he heard my car would be picked up the first week in january to be built." Would the dealership possibly know this information and not be able to pass on to the customer when the order will be picked up by GM? Right now the consensus is all the dealerships across the board "do not know when your order will be picked up" only they have allocation.
The key things to note is he mentioned internal jargon of "two weeks" does anyone have a clue what that might mean?
I really did not want to go into discussion on all the internal information I just want my 6 digit! LOL!
He thought I was diggin deeper into it than the 6 digits but I told him no..
LOL! I think I might have had him a bit scared...LOL!
I went in to tell him I was there to fill out any paper work and he keep telling me "im good" "im good" everything was fine. They did not need me to fill out anything or sign anything. WOW. I must be getting something from up above. How many times can one actually place an order over the phone from start to finish and never sign a paper?

I knew I started a post on "OCT 31" for some reason!
No one including myself knew why I started the post....
obvious now OCT 31 is a big day for sure!
I even had it marked in my sig but I got scared and removed the date!

I have been though a LOT since I joined this site in Aug 2006....
Including seeing the concept 5th gen come to life and every member on here get a 5th gen before me... I waited.....
I am no more deserving than others but.....

ITS MINE AND IM GOING AFTER IT WITH EVERYTHING IN ME, BAR NONE!

Be glad you don't live in Boise, ID where the local dealer, Peterson Chevrolet, has an open allocation at MSPR. But once at the dealer, tune changed. Now they have a $3,000 market adjustment. Walked out. My wife and I will not be a party to unethical business practice, no matter how badly we want this. Sad.
