Employee / Friends discount????
Do you think the dealers will honor the GM employee and friends discount?
If so it should eliminate the high mark up. Wishful thinking?

no... I think dealers are going to sell to people waiting in line with $75K cash stuffed in their pockets...

My cousin works for GM as an designer...no discount for them either on ZL1 or for the Vette ZR1 or the Volt....but any other cars, he gets a nice discount

Both my parents are retired Chrysler employees and I remember they did not honor the discount for the Viper, Charger and Challenger when it first came out.
But now that they've been out for a while....lol...who wants a Chrysler discount...lol

One of dealer told me he can't honor the Military Discount on the ZL1 right off the bat.

The ZR1s are sitting on lots in california and are being discounted $10,000, the Volts aren't selling well either, and some are being discounted too. The ZL1 is not going to be discounted initially, but like anything else after it is out for two years, you will be able to buy them for invoice. The Dealers will still make plenty of money!

I tried but it's not an option!! Was great when I bought my SS! My Father In-Law is retired GM. ��
But my dealer told me no mark up to MSRP for me. Now I wait for pricing! Quote:
