The articles say it looks like a Hellcat with a Widebody, and everyone assumes Dodge put more power behind it...

Just what they need a more powerful, heavier Challenger that can't turn... I will stick with the Camaro!

So all in all, they don't give a crap about "turning". At least not for this car. It has a clear purpose.

Look...don't get me wrong. I love the Camaro b/c I think it is the best all around car. It does everything performance-wise very well. It is the best handler outside of possibly the GT350R. The 1LE and ZL1 are amazing. I agree with you there.

But I hate when folks talk like the Hellcat and the Demon sucks b/c it isn't a corner carver. Who cares. The car is a damn monster made to stomp everything in acceleration. Its not like these cars don't handle just fine for regular or even slightly sporty street driving anyways.

0-60 is probably comparable to 2017 zl1.

GM could do a chevelle or something built for the same purpose. Same with awesome commercials. Never see it

Sounds like marketing spin on their low budget. Its not like they had an option to be track competitive with the LX platform.

I don't blame the guy, I would say the same thing in his position.

How many AWD factory cars do you with 700hp? No it will not be AWD, the widebody kit is specifically for them to mount the size tires it needs to put that power to use.

Correct, Dodge has said their AWD can not cope with that power. Even the regular 5.7 Hemi is too much for it...

The Charger police package has AWD with the 5.7 (375 HP) and the Jeep SRT (6.4L/ 475 HP) has AWD.
