Advice on Personalized Plate

I am the sole owner of my car. Ordered it in 2010. It is now Time to renew my Personal plates. I checked the DMV site: and low and behold: SS Fury is available. My car's name is Fury. SSFury has been my Username here from the beginning. The only problem, that means replacing my current plate, which I have also had since 2010: C4maro.

I know its a Camaro. Everyone knows its a Camaro. In 2010.. just coming out of the time when they didnt exist, it was a bit more powerful. Now.. its just another car on the road. (albeit a cool one!)

I raised my son in my footsteps, he's a car guy. Although.. he likes imports. He drives a Widebodied BRZ. He says he likes C4maro better. I'm leaning towards SS Fury.

What do you guys think? Which one is better? Or... does anyone have any cool suggestions? Getting cool plates through the DMV is like pulling teeth.

More people would envy your c4maro plate than your username plate. How many people do you see in person that know you by your username? More than the number of people who would compliment your c4maro plate? Do you need/want people to know your Camaro6 username while driving around more than you want them appreciate your rare near-brand license plate?

SS Fury is better. I've never understood why someone with a BMW gets a plate that says BMW (which I saw last year).

Ha! Great minds think alike. I was thinking the same thing.

I think "SS Fury has more punch and works very well without it being associated to a screen name.

Vote for SS Fury here.

This is why I have always avoided license plate frames or any other adornment that has the name of my car on it. (Whatever I may be driving at the time.)

I mean no offense to those who do of course, it's just not my thing.

A pet peeve of mine is seeing a beautiful vehicle that still has the dealer's plate frame on it. It's like driving around with a commercial attached. At the car wash yesterday a good looking Dodge Challenger was in line. It was clear he also did some mods and was proud by the way he talked about it to the worker. Sweet ride - except for the dealer's plate frame.

Haha! YEP! I bought an 85 Camaro off a lot back around 1990. I told the sales guy I would sign the contract only if they removed the dealer plate frames. He looked at me kind of funny but walked right in and got a screwdriver and removed them himself.

Another vote for SS FURY!! I'll tell you my pet peeve on the license plates(along with some states demanding two plates), I probably have posted ten times already about this but I wish they would let us pick the two colors of both the base and the numbers/letters to match our Camaro Gen5s. I know it's my OCD but I would certainly pay extra to do so.
