Hi Stranger - how ya doing?

What's under the shell may have changed radically but the basic aesthetic design concept is a minor variation to the 5th Gen. Disappointing IMHO - I wouldn't swop mine for it.

ps will we see you with your wheels, chauffeur and cigars in July - you are of course welcome (and we need the buns haha)!!

Hallo old chap, Life's pretty good at the moment thanks. I still visit this forum regularly, and miss the " street theatre" the Camaro provided. The Bentley was given the boot, by the way. In six months of ownership, it spent EIGHT! weeks in the workshop, costing me over three grand to fix problems you shouldn't get on a 28,000 mile car, costing originally £120,000. The final straws came, when the heated rear screen died, and I was quoted £2600 for a new one, and the powered quarterlight window behind the drivers door, had to be helped up manually, with a finger and thumb.....I never asked how much to fix it. The upshot is I now own a relatively mundane new Audi A5, which was practically a straight swap for the Bentley. This thread on the new 6th gen is getting me excited though, so give it a couple of years to get all the niggles sorted on the new model, and I reckon I'll have to come back.

Hope you , and all the rest of the good men on here are doing well, and would love to see you lot again, if the date doesn't clash with anything else. I would come on the motorbike, and cadge a lift for the convoy though, 'cos the Audi would be an embarrassment in such company.

Cheers for now. T.
