Our Gen6 ZL1 was not listed on the Power Stop web page catalog . I called Power Stop and talked with Tina, she then contacted their product manager and he confirmed Z26-1835(front) and Z26-1053(rear) are correct and he will update the catalog.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for your interest in Power Stop and thank you for calling me yesterday in regards to your concerns.
Here is my response from the product manager:

Yes, the Z26-1835 (front) & Z26-1053 (rear) are correct. I will update the catalog.

Now you can purchase with confidence!
Thanks and have a great day,

Thank you,
Tina Reidy

Hello....

Do we know which brake pads were used on above? I just hung up from a customer inquiring.
He has been on Camaro Forums that say to use our Z26-1835 (front) & Z26-1053 (rear)
Same as the 2016 Caddy CTSV (GM built on same frame)
Need to email customer back. Please advise asap.

Thanks,

Any updates on the Power Stop Z26-1835 (front) & Z26-1053 (rear)? Less Dust, noise, stopping ?

My own update, so far less dust same braking at lest driving around town. Easy to install. I did scuff my rotors (2,000 miles on them) with 120 grit sandpaper block. Went through the break-in steps. It seems to be fine.

At first it seemed a little less but after driving the car for a couple of weeks I can't tell the difference from the factory pads. The car still stops extremely well and there is almost no dust. That in itself is worth the money. Best 130.00 I ever spent I think

Has anyone measured the thickness of OE new stock pads? I'm looking at mine and it looks like we might be able to fit an 18mm pad in there. Thanks, cheers, Andi

I did some pad clearance testing this evening. I understand OE is 15mm front and rear. Looks like 15mm is correct for the rear while the front calipers have clearance for a 17mm thick pad.

Changed mine on Sunday morning with 900 mi on the car. First impression is that the initial bite is similar to when I took delivery at 5 mi on the OEM pads... a bit more pedal effort, but well within what I would consider reasonable for such a significant change in pad material.

And the front wheels were nice and shiny when we pulled up at the Pioneer Days show in Englewood

My OEM front pads measure 16mm exact at 900 mi of relatively easy breakin miles (no track time).

Installed the Z26's, they work better than they did on my 5th Gen for sure!
After a week, now my rotors turned blue, LOL.
Full disclosure, I don't drive 55....

Can someone confirm the ZL1 1LE pads are the same? The factory brake dust is crazy!

ZL1LE uses the same brakes / pads as standard ZL1. That said, based on the above you bought the wrong car.
