It's a totally different car. Head to toe. There's still a familiar feel to it and how it drives. But by no means does it feel like the same car. It drives a lot better and what not, but ironically has more rattles than my 03 Z. Though, my Z had none. This car has a shifting noise in the interior when rolling over uneven fround, like a driveway.

The audio system is far better, though I have it off a lot to listen to the motor. The engine sounds like my Z with the long-tubes and titanium mufflers. But maybe a little more growling for the LT1.

The interior is spectacular and the main reason I sold my Z for a C7. If it wasn't fir the interior, I wouldn't have sold my Z and would have waited for a used C7.

The car is pretty much everything I hoped for, and in some cases more than I'd hoped for.

I have a non-Z51 on order and I REALLY HATE rattles.
My 2000 C5 was almost rattle free. I hope these are not rattle boxes!!!!

SCM..are you talking about when you do a tight turn in a driveway or something at a slow speed? Mine makes a pop every second or two when you are turned all the way tight and slowly move

The rattles are seldom, but happen. I'm not the only one that's noticed it. And it seems to be worse with the transparent top.

I suggest you take a ride in a C7. It's not as bad as I'm making it sound, I'm sure.

No. It does wheel hop on slow tight turns. But I'm talking about actual creaking from chassis flex.
