I honestly get an Altima all the time. Great car. Are you guys saying the maxima is better?

I like the Maxima better than the Altima. They offered to upgrade me to one when I was in Tampa. Of course that was after they tried putting me in a Malibu when I paid for a full size.
The current Altima's the first one I think looks good though. Damn you six window sedans.

My girls Maxima has been nothing but a money pit. Goes through rotors, sun roof leaks, windows stick/refuse to go up and down, when you hit the unlock button in might unlock 2 doors; if your lucky 3 doors but never 4, the dash is bubbling, speakers blown, ac lines were dried rotted and had to be replaced and NOW the tranny is slipping.
Car is a 2005; bought it in 2009. NEVER AGAIN I seriously thought they were like Hondas....my 01 civic would run on a quart of oil....couldn't kill that bast........ |

Likely a lemon. It seems when I were looking for used cars many seemed to have problems with the electrical system.
My moms 2009 rogue had horrible paint issues, shifter knob broke the first two weeks, that wonderful infinite ratio tranny had to be replaced ect. ect. She finally sold it at a huge loss. She said she's driven many and she could tell within the first week that the quality of them aren't what they used to be. IMHO of course..and hers...and my girls lol. |

My Dad had an early 80s Maxima (and a Cressida... remember those?) he bought new. It was okay from what I recall. Motorized seat belts... lol, annoying.

I guess it just depends what car you buy. 20 years of Nissans.

Rogue was first year production I warned her against that. We broke down out of town in her old Acura tl. Pushed the car into the dealers parking lot and she said I'm done I'm buying one. (She dumped loads into that car it having over 200k on the clock)

I'm approaching 200k in my Maxima. I don't see it being around much longer. But it has good timing.
