Black rims???
So I am getting a little bit braver with the stuff...I had done my bow ties and they turned out great so next up was the wheels and Camaro letters on the quarter panels I'm buying new rims so it's just temporary. Going to be painting the calipers red as in one of DIY's here on the site...just got the replacement stickers to round out the look on them. Thoughts on the black wheels?

I did my bowties and camaro letters as well. Waiting for it to warm up again to do the wheels.
Did you remove them? How many coats? You did it with wheel standing up, and rotated around to get inside? |

No I didn't take them off. I used 6 coats on each...including the 1st light coat. I jacked up the car so I could get up under the bottom lip. No concern with getting inside the rim...just did the front surface, with a trash bag around the rotors. My biggest advice is don't over think it. Tape off the valve stem, wrap the rotors and go at it. I used rubbing alcohol spray to ensure they were very clean.
