That's too bad about the repair. Sadly, these things happen. My 2014 had a dead battery after just three months of driving. After it was replaced by the dealer I had to have it serviced again to fix an issue with the door lock LED lights. It required a "re-flash" but the car is fine now. Best of luck with your Stingray.

I had the infotainment screen fail, and needed a reflash of the BCM for a communications issue. Both were very minor issues in my opinion, and the car has been trouble free since. I wouldn't worry about it unless the problem becomes recurring. Considering how many parts and computers are in modern cars, its kind of a wonder they work as well as they do!

I've read that some C7 owners are finding their differential low on fluid from the factory. I wonder if this was the cause of your failure?

Within the first month the control module for the rear axel was bad and the infotainment screen flickered. Both have been fixed. Except for rattling dash vents, no new issues.
